I'm catching up for the last couple of days. We have been enjoying warm weather and friends we haven't seen for some time. 

The big race. The Kobalt Tools 400.

Just before the race we went for breakfast to our new friends Linda and Jerry. They had a little dog and Mary couldn't resist him, we miss Quazar.

The fans getting ready for the race, the area behind the grandstands. There were over 200,000 people at the race, or at least it looked like it.

The only " damaged " car during the race was on the back stretch.

These helicopters shuttled people to the track and back. There were more than this, rumor was it was $400 round trip.

While we were waiting for the crowd to leave we watched some smaller cars on the 1/4 mile track at the finish line for the big track, it was fun. They had three classes of small car and the drivers ranged in age from under 10 to adults.

The next day we headed for Parker Az. to visit with friends. At Boulder City  Nv. we saw this sign, we didn't see any sheep on this trip, but we did on an earlier trip.

We got to see about 50 Burros, these were in a golf course.

We had dinner outside with our friends, Frank, Mary, Bob, Pat and Sharon.
