Today was the Sam's Town 300 race.
The weather started out better than Friday, but ended up cooler because the wind came up and the chill factor went down.
We had a few aircraft today, but not like yesterday.
The grid was ready for qualifying.
After the qualifying and getting ready for "start your engines".
Some of the drivers being introduced.
Today's race had three girls and one 70 year old driver, they all finished the race without a wreck.
The Grand Marshall, I don't remember his name, but he was older than Morgan Shepard (70) and a couple of show girls.
Nice stretch limo.
The Air Force fly by and we are ready to race.
Green flag.
Several wrecks, but no one hurt.
Speedy dry for the oil clean up.
One on the hook.
180 mph lawn mower.
The race results.
The smokey burn out.
That's about it for today. Our first live NASCAR race and we really enjoyed it. At least it didn't rain.
Tomorrow is the Kobalt Tools 400.
